GOD VERSUS THE BIBLE

Most people in western culture are brought up to believe the Bible is either the word of God or positively and closely associated with Him.


If we hold the idea of God in a very meaningful way, we should honestly and closely examine sources that claim to represent Him/Her. 


It shows respect to God and to ourselves. After all, if someone was writing and saying things about you that were derogatory towards your character, and a good friend of yours was aware of it, wouldn't you hope your friend would take a stand on your behalf?


Because the Bible repeatedly portrays God as a crazed killer, a liar, and a jealous fool, it is only just and logical that people who believe in God take His/Her side against the Bible and revealed religion.


One of the best known genocidal acts blamed on God by the Bible is found in Genesis chapters 6-8. In these Biblical chapters God is said to have killed every living thing on earth except Noah and the inhabitants of the ark! 

THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MOMENT! 

He killed everyone by drowning!  Even the babies and the unborn! What sin could they have committed??? 

Thank God the Bible is not true!

In the famous Passover story we see God through the depraved minds of the Bible writers personally murdering the first born of everyone in Egypt, even of the animals, to punish Pharaoh for not doing what God himself made impossible for Pharaoh to do. 


Exodus 11:10 says God “hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the people of Israel go out of his land.” 


Then Exodus 12:29 has God killing the first-born of everyone and everything throughout Egypt at midnight. Deceptiveness is not a trait any sane person would welcome in either themselves or in another. Yet the Bible portrays God as a liar and a deceiver. 


In Ezekiel 14:9 God allegedly said that if someone turns to idols and then,“comes to a prophet to inquire for himself of me, I the Lord will answer him myself; . . . And if the prophet be deceived and speak a word, I, the Lord, have deceived that prophet . . .”
It then goes on to say in 14:10 that God will kill both the prophet and the person who inquired of God.

In Second Thessalonians 2:11 we read of God deceiving man-kind when they need Him the most - at the end of the age when Jesus makes his come-back. It reads: “Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false.” What kind of loving father is this Judeo-Christian god???

The unbelievably ignorant story of the Tower of Babel is found in Genesis Chapter 11. In it we see the Bible portraying God as a very limited jealous god who confounds the language of the people because the god is afraid they will build a tower that reaches up to heaven and they will have nothing that is unattainable to them. 


As one of the supporters of the World Union of Deists asked, I wonder how this god feels about the world’s skyscrapers, not to mention NASA?


The true good news is that the Bible is not the word of God! 


How could a Creator who is responsible for the beautiful design we see in the Universe and Creation be anything similar to the god of the Bible? 


If you want to learn about God don’t look in books written by mankind, but instead look to the Creation which only the Creator could have made.

Super professional narration, fantastic visuals, love the Mandelbrot sets and the superimpositions and skillfull transitions, intro is superb. We find that "author" and "architect" are the key terms. The Clockwork universe of Newton comes into play with excellent imagery. Wow! Does any religion have the right answers? These are the questions the Deists asks, as well as being sick of warfare over religion. Copernicus, Kepler, Brahe, Galileo destroyed Christianity's earth-centered view. The Bible was in for a drubbing with Lord Cherbury and friends. Locke comes into play opposing innateness arguments for this Deist God, and the tabula rasa or blank slate notion of mind comes into play. Deists then had to turn to arguments from experience and nature. Extensive, skillfull panning and cropping. Both the French and American revolutions were influenced by this movement. The Cult of the Supreme Being was a national cult in France for a time. Many founding fathers saw the value of reason, but especially Jefferson was a propounder of Deism. Franklin found anti-Deist tracts drew him to Deism and Thomas Paine made it popular. We see a god without revelation. Nice definition of all of it: a creative power greater than human... the growth is the fastest growing religion or .02 of the population. Hans Hegge narrated wonderfully, the credits are clear and extensive. Loved it! Persuasive....

Its all semantics and until the "active" Atheist understands what the true meaning of the title is that they give themselves, they'll never understand God,or the God concept.

The active Atheist like the pure Deist knows that we come from Something but for some reason the "active" Atheist just can't give that Something the title of God. God is a word/title/name that can be synonymous with other words like Nature,Life,or the Universe. Is God the creator of these things,or is God these things, is just ones faith on the matter. 

This video shows that the "active" Atheist will even compromise their very own reasoning skills to teach man that God (Nature,Life,the Universe) is not real.

Recognition is the first step to understanding. I hope that this video doesn't seem too mean spirited. Know that Deism is my religion so when you call my religion dumb my ego gets a little browsed.

Sorry its been so long doing a video but my "I am the Christ Prophet" video set me back a little with family members who like to think of only certain spacial people having powers of personal revelations from this Eternal Life Force that man rightly calls God.

Today I found out a very strange fact regarding lobsters  that I didn't know of. They might actually be immortal , in the sense that they do not age of course! From what recent studies have shown, it seems that lobsters may not slow down, weaken, or lose fertility with age. Actually older lobsters are more fertile compared to the younger ones!

In other words lobsters exhibit negligible senescence, which means that they lack any symptoms related with aging. However their supposed immortality is not yet proven, although lobsters are undoubtedly one of the longest living animals, with many specimens exceeding one hunder years of age.
